No Doubt Rock Steady

She’s known for her eclectic punk style and avante-garde fashions. But Gwen Stefani looked every inch a lady yesterday as she and husband Gavin Rossdale attended a friend’s wedding. The No Doubt star looked stunning in a 1940’s-inspired black and white polka-dot dress, with black heels. And the retro look was completed with Gwen’s curled platinum blonde hair and – of course – her trademark red lipstick. Gavin complemented his wife’s look with a simple beige suit, white trainers and with his long hair slicked back.

The couple were attending the wedding of their friends Cassandra Bodie and celebrity hairstylist Kristoff Ball on board a luxury yacht in California’s Marina del Rey.

And it’s clear immaculate Gwen, 40, wasn’t in danger of being upstaged by any of the guests.

The singer seemed in very high spirits as she relaxed and enjoyed some time with her Bush rocker husband away from their sons Kingston, four, and Zuma, 23 months.
She was clearly full of energy on the yacht, laughing and talking with the other guests.

When the bride and groom left the yacht, Gwen, 40, and Gavin, 44, had fun blowing bubbles as they passed by.

Earlier she had prepared for the big day by visiting the nail salon for a manicure. Gwen and her family have decamped from their luxury Bel Air home to Malibu for the summer, where they own a beach front house. And the singer took Zuma and Kingston to visit her parents today.

They are spending time together before Gavin and his band Bush, hold a reunion concert in Los Angeles on September 25 before embarking on a world tour.

As a Hollywood A-lister it must be hard finding friends who aren’t jealous of your success. So who better to dine with than your fellow celebrities.

Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale dined with actress Kate Beckinsale and her director husband Len Wiseman in the ritzy beach side town of Malibu yesterday.

Dressed in black harem pants and a long beige cardigan with her hair pulled back in a bun, Gwen, 40, looked casually chic, while Gavin, 44, just looked casual in his jeans and bulky jacket.

Len, 37, was rocking the casual look in basic black, while Kate, 37, dressed up her black pants with a pair of killer black heels.

Earlier in the day Gwen and Gavin had eaten lunch in Malibu with their sons, Kingston, four and Zuma, two.

The Stefani/Rossdales own a holiday home in Malibu, with their son Zuma being named after one of the town’s most popular beaches.

The family of four dined at Plate restaurant, although the afternoon proved to be just a little too exciting for Zuma.

After enjoying a drink of milk from his bottle, the toddler quickly fell asleep in his mother’s arms.

The family have been spending a lot of quality time together at the beach this summer, before Gavin and his band Bush, hold a reunion concert in Los Angeles on September 25 before embarking on a world tour.
